In an increasingly interconnected world, being able to communicate in multiple languages makes person a more informed and responsible global citizen. Proficiency in a foreign language can enhance job prospects and career advancement. Engineering projects often involve collaboration with professionals, clients, and teams from around the world. Learning a foreign language is a challenging and rewarding experience that can boost self-confidence and personal growth. Realizing the importance of learning foreign languages, the Foreign Language Division was started at VJCET in the year 2019. To start with the coaching classes for German language was commenced.
Courses Offered
The German language course was launched at VJCET on 4 th February 2019 with a mission to prepare students to obtain the B2 exam certificate, which is required to be submitted to the consulates along with their German visa application. So far, we have completed training of 5 batches. The majority of students in the initial batches were GNM or B Sc nurses and Engineering students. Hostel accommodation was also made available to the students. At present we offer classes to our B. Tech graduates as well as other degree students and higher secondary school students, who plan to do their studies in Germany or to start their professional career in Germany. The normal time period for an average student to reach German Language B2 level would be 8-10 months.
